One of the things i love about periphery boys is the ability to write heavy blastbeating music AS WELL AS gorgeous, almost symphony like soft parts. My soul sings with their tunes.
This paints such a clear image in your head it is incredible, i am visualising the wide expanses of space or vectors diverging into the sky hence the name of the song
This is the type of stuff that keeps me inspired to create music. I can only pray to inspire someone else just half as much as Mark and Misha have done for me. Absolute masterpiece. This entire ep. Thank you thank you thank you.
I don't particularly like the drums they chose for this EP, most notably the snare. However, going forward, I bet they'll use Getgood drums for these types of projects from now on, which is great, because they sound a lot better than whatever Superior Drummer samples they scrapped together for this album.

+Neil Hubac I beleive its in an open tuning. Look for Bulb's(MIsha Mansoor's) Epic Fail it has parts that are similar and as well as scarlet. they are in an opne tuning. Epic fail is in D A D F# A E Scarlet is in C G C E G D But I could always be wrong
Well I tried learning the soft part by ear through standard tuning, which is what lead me into thinking about that particular tuning. But I'll see how covers play it lol
I saw a clinic in which mark says 3 songs are played in this tuning btw it is called open c add 9 and they also paly in open c minor add 9 he said 3 songs are in this tuning you could check it out
